Who am I?
I graduated from a great university in 1999. China Ocean Unversity. I learnt English there, that gave me the chance to communicate well with people worldwide. That time, in China, International business is a good prospects job . Also I have a business family. Business is very attractive to me.
Bad company is a good business college!
Unlucky ,I met a very bad boss at begining of my business life .Shamed to say that. My boss had 3 factories to produce wooden hangers.toys and candles. He need to build a international sales department that time. So I was introduced to him by one of my classmate - His buyer. I got the sales manager position easily. How a disaster of the next 4 years I had. I am too young to tell people.
He ate his words on fulfilling commission of sales, He cheated us on employee insurance. He didn’t care the employee encouragement and rewards. Anything causes money outside his pocket , he found ways to say No. Such as we signed a contract : I would got 1% of the total sale value as commission , reward of the year. He delayed it forever and did not make it happen even after I left the company.
The worst is he didn't have business credit. That time business is easier and bigger than now for Chinese. Almost every three orders I met trouble. some was because delivery time delayed, Some was because quality minor and Some was because the quantity less . Of couse , trouble also came from the employee angry. even there were fighting between the boss couples. He hated and scared employees worked by a warm team, He thought he was secretly monitored my job and hoped my assistant can tell him what I said and what I did. Those hurted me a lot. Oh, My god, I really dont want to remember those days.
But I took my mum's advice : I was green hand in international business , no matter how much I should. she said " I paid your school for knowledge. You learnt experience and skills from the company with salary. A bad company can teach you more. Boss is not important. Skills of problem solution is the most important. You faced so many kinds of problems in that company. Just come on , my baby. When you learnt enough, You can leave. Before that, remember what you need ."
I built my own company to fulfill my idea !
How wise my mum is! After 4 years working in that company, In 2003, I rested in home more than half year for my hurted broken heart . till one friend visitation. In 2005, I decided to open my own business company to help another wooden hanger factory's sale.
I named my company in Chinese Guande ( meaning : Worth ， credit is the most important for people ). Make international purchasing easier under my company's service.
What we have now ?
When we had right target, God of luck might take care of the left. I was so lucky after that though I am not very rich now, I met so many good sales love to work hard with me, they cherish the company's benefit . They became fatter in my company for good relationship . They stay to work here as long as they can . They thought so details for our clients' business ,they make the purchasing went well. Even they left the company , we kept good relathionship and I can share what I achieved with them.You know what : I only met one guy stolen the client information and business .
We have custom hanger service brand . We help the client customize hangers with their logo. We help to solve the display function by new designs. We help to send hangers worldwide to their subsuppliers. We also help the client make more profits by our design. 90% of my old clients are long term relationship clients and the longest one is 17 years .
We wholesale and retail hangers on Amazon.com and koobayhome.com . We want to share the hangers top trend and fashion designs we loved. The people who love personality their closet or a fashion boutique , They love hangers we suggested. Though it is small business now. We make their dream come true. and this business give me big happiness .
Except keep developing recyclable new material hangers and eco friendly new materail hangers . We jointed the service of recycle to use plastic hangers for huge link fashion retailors. We collect the used hangers from the clients warehouse worldwide , resorted the hangers into perfect status. delivered them to the garment factories then exported them outside to the worldwide again. The whole team are excited for this great business we did. That reduced the production of plastic hangers. you know , 1 ton new plastic hanger can make 5.9 tons CO2. You see , we reduced it and make money on the same time ! How amazing it is !
My future Plan.
I hope my company can be the partner of the clients for sourcing in China. Mutual benefit is the basic rule. The client can make a smooth international business under my team service .
I hope the client can use my company web custom diesign their hanger and place order one stop .
I hope my team , Head International employees , can be hornered for they ever worked here. Got raised up for working here. Make a easy life by working hard.
I hope my company can be something that somebody wants to buy it or at least my son wants to get it.
